LITHIUM-ION VS LEAD-ACID BATTERIES

• The Lithium battery weighs less and is typically half one-third lighter than the original lead-acid battery weight.
• It has a much higher electrical efficiency compared to lead-acid batteries and charges significantly faster.
• The cost of ownership of the Lithium battery is cheaper than lead-acid batteries, resulting in a longer working life. (The Lithium battery provides electrical equipment with constant voltage, giving it a longer working life.)

JACKERY VS PETROL GENERATORS

Jackery portable power stations are nearly silent compared to petrol generators. They can be used safely indoors and don’t require regular servicing, whereas petrol generators can only be used outdoors and do require regular servicing. Even though the petrol generator is relatively inexpensive, the fuel and oil it requires can be costly and releases emissions that are bad for the environment. Whereas Jackery portable power stations have zero emissions and can be recharged with solar for free.

PURE VS MODIFIED SINE WAVE INVERTERS

Most power setups require an additional inverter, whereas the Jackery has a built-in pure sine wave inverter, which can produce bigger waves of cleaner, smoother, quieter, and more reliable power. This is equivalent to or better than power in the home and protects sensitive electronics and appliances such as digital microwaves, laptops, and fridges, allowing them to operate without interference.

In comparison with the modified sine wave, both inverters can convert DC power from batteries into an AC power supply. However, even though modified sine wave inverters are typically cheaper, they do tend to use up to 30% more power and are not able to run its full capacity. Therefore, the consumer is advised to check if their appliance is safe to run with this kind of inverter.
